Childbirth Education classes are back on the rise for a very good reason. Labor is not a great time to start learning the ropes and making major decisions. It is terribly difficult to focus and to learn and to think through your options when you're uncomfortable or in pain. Because of the rising cost, hospitals are cutting back on Maternity Wards which means less nurses with time to help and instruct laboring couples. Obstetrics has the biggest gap between what we know from evidence based studies and what is done on a routine basis. Come to class and learn what you need to know to narrow the gap!
